Marc is a Frankfort native. After high school, he served our country in the US Navy as a Firefighter and Chemical Biological Radiological Specialist onboard the USS Juneau stationed out of San Diego, Ca.

During his Active Duty he participated in several missions from Environmental Crisis with The Alaska Oil Spill Task Force to the Persian Gulf during Desert Storm and then Humanitarian Aid to Bangladesh after the most devastating Cyclone on record.

His time in the military just solidified his calling of wanting to be there when people were most in need.

Marc then returned to back Kentucky and continued serving the public and his community. His fire training in the Navy and learning to operate under stressful conditions and long hours gave him priceless experience needed to further his career as a Firefighter. He started working for Frankfort Fire & EMS and within the first 2 years became a State Certified Paramedic. Marc retired as a Captain Firefighter/Medic after 21 years of service.

On a somewhat broader scale of Local Public Safety- he wasn’t finished. Marc worked for 7 more years as Deputy Director of Frankfort and Franklin County Emergency Management & Homeland Security.

About 4 years ago, Marc had the opportunity to join his sister (Ella) and her husband (Todd Gravitt) working with their business as a Senior Project Manager for Ideal Restoration & Roofing of Ky. Marc says, “I still feel like I’m serving my community but just in a little different way.”

A lot of our work is helping homeowners through their insurance claim process due to storm damage.

Marc lives with his wonderful wife Jessica in Northern Franklin County near Elkhorn Creek. Marc has two sons, Chris and Garryn and Jessica has a daughter and son, Sadie and Ashton. They also have three spoiled dogs and a cat that thinks he owns the farm.
